Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Sales papers from your favorite stores
- Coupons and organizer
- A notebook and pen
Step1
First, start your coupon collection. The best place to get coupons from is the Sunday edition of a big city paper. You can also find coupons in the local paper, online,or from "junk" mail.
Step2
Organize your coupons how ever it seems most logical to you. Some people organize by type (dairy, meat, fruit, bread, etc.) or by isle. Make sure that your coupons are easy to find.
Step3
Next, collect the sales papers from your favorite stores. Match what coupons you have with sales at the stores. Usually, you can find items that are free after the sale and the coupon!
Step4
Write down your shopping list. By each item that you have a coupon for put a check mark and write down the name of the store that has a sale on the item.

on 6/28/2008 I suggest taking a look at ipromocodes.com - they seem to find the best deals and coupons.

on 6/3/2008 Not all stores will let you use 2 coupons on a buy 1 get 1 free offer. It depends on how they ring up on the receipt. Ask first if you're in doubt.
I REGULARLY buy over $100 in groceries for less than $10 using coupons. I share how I do it in my articles at: http://www.ehow.com/members/momandpopoften-articles.html
