Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Cover cookie sheet or baking pan with aluminum foil.
Step2
Spread raw almonds over foil in a single layer. Coat nuts with vegetable oil by hand or with a brush and rearrange in a single layer.
Step3
Bake at 350 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes. When timer rings, remove pan from oven and carefully pull corners of foil into a pouch and place on cool surface of stove or counter top. This helps prevent nuts from getting burned by the pan.
Step4
Salt or season as desired, allow to cool about 10 minutes and store in a glass or porcelain crock.

Tried eatin um with the plastic teeth. . .raw almonds a harder than the dickens. Roastin um makes um crunch up easier. It's the pits gettin old, gotta make all these changes. Cheers

Works very well. I needed them for a cookie recipe. I live in a small town and couldn't find roasted almonds anywhere. They were fantastic.
