How to make a welcome banner for your website

Welcome people to your site with your own banner.

Difficulty: Easy

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Photoshop 7 or higher

1. File>New set canvas dimensions to 257 X 74. Set the canvas background to transparent.

2. 

   Go to the toolbox and click on the font tool. After choosing your font type click on the canvas and Type WELCOME.

3. 

   After you have the desired font and sized it to fit inside the canvas to go the Style box. Choose a style that you like.

4. 

   Then make your embellishments and save as a GIF. That way the background will not appear.

Tips & Warnings

• Be creative make many different types of banners.
• This tutorial is for those with at least a basic knowledge of Photoshop.
