Step 1
Making the wrestling team is easy because all you have to do is just keep trying and not quit. It needs dedication, brains, athleticism heart and soul. Even if you have never wrestled before you are here to see what it takes to learn!
-
Step 2
Being on the high school wrestling team is not an easy thing to do but the rewards are worth it in the end. Being on the wrestling team is something great because it shows leadership, courage, strength, and teamwork, and you are part of something special. It also gives you a chance to shine as an individual in a team atmosphere. Your teammates are there for themselves, but also to help and encourage you.
-
Step 3
The wrestling schedule can be tough … daily practice, even during holiday breaks. “Two-a-Days” (two practices a day) are tough: one in the morning, one in the afternoon. You’ll get tired, but if you stay in shape with wrestling; football will be easier for you!!
-
Step 4
The friendships and relationships you build on the team become a part of you for life. Your teammates become not only your friends, but they with become your brothers. Treat your teammates and coaches with dignity and respect; you will get the same dignity and respect in return.
-
Step 5
Take criticism well, and use it as a challenge for you to do better. Make improvements through extra practice with friends, or extra time in the weight room to improve your stamina. The better you make yourself, the better you show your improvement, the better your chances of winning a match!

on 1/12/2008 Wrestling is like another sport to be the best it takes dedication and focus throughout the entire year. I was not the best in any of my ten years. I was better average and some of my favorite memories after seventeen years were form this great sport.
My only suggestion on how to survive it is to love it.
This goes for all of the challenges and experiences during these years.
