Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • One Kitchen Towel
  • Ribbon

  1. Step 1

Pick out a kitchen towel you would like for a design for an apron, decide which side you would like to be the top.

  2. Step 2

Take the ribbon and measure around your neck to see how low you would like the apron to hang. Cut ribbon to length.

  3. Step 3

Measure ribbon around your waist to apron to fit, then allow extra for tying the ribbon. Cut ribbon to length.

  4. Step 4

Attach ribbon to kitchen towel either by needle and thread, sewing machine, or safety pins depending on what works best for you.

  5. Step 5

Place the apron over your head and tie in back and you are ready to go.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can spice this up for a fun activity for your kids by letting them decorate their own towel with fabric paints and glitter with their names or even make up a kitchen name like chef and their nickname.
