There are many types of organizers and specialty boxes and gadgets out there that can be purchased for organizing your shoes, but this is a simple way to do it yourself without the large cost of having to buy those specialty organizers.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Take a picture of each pair of shoes you own.
Step2
Print out the pictures using your computer, they can be in black and white or color, which ever you prefer or is easier for you to recognize.
Step3
Place each pair of shoes in a shoe box and place the coordinating picture on the front of the box of that pair of shoes.
Step4
Arrange the shoe boxes along the bottom of your closet or top shelves of your closet in a neat stacking manner, try to organize them based on season, type of shoe, color, or occasion you would use them for.

Tips & Warnings

  • Most department stores throw away their shoe boxes such as a Marshalls, TJ Maxx, AJ Wright, and other such stores, so if you ask for them, they would be happy to allow you to pick them up, then you would have all the same type of shoe boxes, easy for stacking.
