Instructions

Things You'll Need:

Colored nail polish
White nail polish
Clear nail polish

Step 1

After clipping and filing your nails, you should pick out a base color. Paint the entire nail this color.
Step 2

Paint a second coat of the same color.
Step 3

After the initial two coats dry, take your white nail polish and make a small line bordering the edge of your nail just as the manicurist does for the French manicure in the salon. Make sure your line is as straight as you can get it.
Step 4

Finally, add two coats of clear nail polish. You should have been able to create a French tip on your colored nails for a more young and eye-catching look!
