Martinis are fun to make and there are endless recipe possibilities. But the secret to making an authentic martini is the trademark frosty glass. Here’s how to make your martini glass just as cold as if you were drinking at the Tropicana with Dean Martin.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Martini glass
  • Martini shaker
  • Ice
  • Water
  1. Step 1

    Before you begin mixing the alcohol, fill your martini glass with ice about 3/4ths of the way up.

  2. Step 2

    Fill the glass with water and let it sit.

  3. Step 3

    Mix your ingredients in your martini shaker while the glass sits with the ice and water.

  4. Step 4

    Once your ingredients are all shaken up, dump the ice and water out of your glass. It should be cold and frosty!

  5. Step 5

    Pour in your martini and enjoy!
