Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • As little as one day or as much as a week or more
  • Spending money
  • Money for food and (optional) lodging
  1. Step 1

If you are in Point Pleasant for just one day, a great place to start is the Pt. Pleasant Beach boardwalk. You can eat, play games, go on rides (both children's and adults'), climb a "rock wall", play miniature golf or enjoy a cocktail at Martell's Tiki Bar.

  2. Step 2

If you have the time, visit Jenkinson's Aquarium, located right on the boardwalk. Jenkinson's also has a great nightclub that has dancing, food, cocktails and a raw bar.

  3. Step 3

If you are up for some surf and sand, visit one of the many beaches located off of the boardwalk. You can rent umbrellas and chairs.

  4. Step 4

Check out the Pt. Pleasant Beach Inlet, where the Manasquan River meets the Atlantic Ocean. Great saltwater fishing happens here.

  5. Step 5

For great seafood, try one or all of the following restaurants: The Wharfside, The Lobster Shanty, The Shrimp Box or Spike's Fish Market. All are located within a couple of miles of the boardwalk.

  6. Step 6

If you want to shop, head to the center of Pt. Pleasant Beach by traveling into town. You can find antiques, jewelry, nautical items, quaint eateries, a used book shop and clothing boutiques.

  7. Step 7

During a longer stay, a great place to relax and be pampered is at The White Sands, which has a full salon and spa (an indoor pool, massages, hair and nail care, and more.
