1
Mark the spot where your vessel faucet is going to be located. This would be after you have installed the matching vessel sink. Ensure that the lower half faucet spout where the water will fall is directly above the inside of the sink to avoid spilling water.
-
2
Unscrew the nuts, pads, and clevis out of the faucet. Set aside for later.
-
-
3
Place the UP pad over the counter faucet mounting hole.
-
4
Drop the faucet into place, allowing the supply lines to fall through the appropriate holes in the sink.
-
5
Secure the faucet mounting nuts to the underside of the countertop. Hook up the water supply to the pipe and connection. Using a wrench, tighten the water pipes into the faucet. Wrench is a preferred tool to avoid damage. Make sure not to turn the angle valve all the way up for it will cause leaking due to too much pressure.
Don't over-tighten the connections or you will bend and ruin the pipes connected to the faucet. Tighten the nut using a wrench.
-
6
Turn on main water supply to see if water flows well. Check for leaks and repair as required. Seal the surrounding areas of the bottom of the faucet with silicone.
