How to Cook the Crap Out of Kielbassi

Kielbassi lovers in your family will enjoy this recipe. You will literally cook the crap out of the Kielbassi. It takes about an hour to make this dish that only uses two ingredients. The secret ingredient is ginger ale. Surprised? Well, this main dish will surprise your family with it's wonderful flavor. It can also be used as an appetizer at a party if you use an electric skillet.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 3 lbs. Kielbassi
  • 2 liters Ginger Ale
  • 1 large frying pan (or electric skillet)

How to Cook the Crap Out of Kielbassi.

Step1
Slice the kielbassi in 1/4 inch slices.
Step2
Place the kielbassi in the electric frying pan (or skillet on a stove).
Step3
Pour the two liters of Ginger Ale over the kielbassi and stir.
Step4
Simmer the mixture until it caramelizes. Watch it closely toward the end so it won't burn.
Step5
Once done, the kielbassi will be very crisp (but not burned) and the Ginger Ale will have turned into a brown, smooth sauce.

Tips & Warnings

  • If using this for a party appetizer, the kielbassi needs to be kept warm so the caramelized ginger ale doesn't get hard.
  • Do not use a crock pot or slow cooker of any kind because it doesn't get hot enough to caramelize the ginger ale.
