How to Make A Treat for your Squirrel Friends...

Squirrels love these tasty treats and you will love watching them eat.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Large pinecone
• 1 large jar of peanut butter
• bird seed
• nylon string

1. Start by tying string around the center of the pinecone. Leave approximately 4 feet of string on either side to use for hanging.
2. Completely and generously cover the pine cone with peanut butter.
3. Roll the peanut butter covered pinecone in birdseed.
4. Your Squirrel treat is complete! Hang from a tree branch and watch the squirrels (and sometimes birds) enjoy.

Tips & Warnings

• You may have to adjust and use wire to hang the pinecones. I found this out when a clever squirrel would chew thru the nylon string and drag my pinecones away!
