Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Things You’ll Need:
- Access to a large magazine store.
Step1
Write down a list of things that the person likes and dislikes. Include on this list hobbies, political interests, different sports, things related to their career and so on. Be specific, and really think hard because most people have many interests.
Step2
Take this list to a place with a very large selection of magazines. Browse through some of these magazines that fit into one or more of the categories you wrote down. The ideal magazine will cover multiple things on your list.
Step3
Don't judge the magazine by it's cover. Keep in mind that the person probably won't even be receiving that particular issue. Go through the magazine thoroughly.
Step4
After looking through some magazines and narrowing down your ideas, go up to the counter and ask somebody to recommend a magazine that covers what you have narrowed it down to. They might even recommend something you've never heard of, or something that they get themselves.
Step5
Ask around with your friends. See what other people similar to the person you are giving this to read on a regular basis. It's all about finding what jumps out at you just like any other gift, but you really have to know this particular gift.
