Step1
“Game is not working for play station” It may be due to the CD has many scratches, Play station is worn out due to extensive use or you have used bootleg CD or the CD is upside down. To fix this problem take care of your CD's. Keep a cleaning kit. Never place a CD down information side down and keep them back in their holders after use. If the CD is extremely scratched, try to clean it.

“New game hangs” It may occur due to Memory cache Problem or the lens is damaged. It happens because sometimes data on the memory called "cache" are left intact inside. It should be reset with turn off your Play station and then turn it on again. Sometimes, it corrupts new data and the game cannot writes graphic data on the memory and thus, you are not able to play the game. Reset the play station twice. Unplug the play station from the power source. Let it be unplugged for 10 to30 seconds in order to allow the electronic components to fully discharge now reboot. If the problem has not been solved yet then there may be a serious problem with the Play station. The processor or one of the supporting RAM, ROM or BIOS chips has been internally fried out.
Step3
“Memory card, USB peripheral cannot be inserted into Play station Controller”. It may happen either due to the peripheral is not made for the Play station or the port is physically damage. To fix this problem make sure that nothing is preventing the plug from fully connecting with the port pins. Take a dry clean toothbrush and try to go over the contacts to free anything, which might be preventing the plug from securely connecting

“The sound is scratchy” It may be due to bad audio connection or no audio connection to the TV, in correct play station sound system settings. To fix this problem check to look if the Play station’s audio cable is properly connected to the audio in port of your TV. Make sure your TV audio settings are correct. If there is sound on your normal channels. Check if the game DVD’s audio options are properly set. If the problem is still not solved then replace the audio jack on your Play station.

“Suddenly buttons stopped responding” It may happen due to loose controller cord. To fix this problem, unplug the controller from the controller port and then plug it in again. Always make sure that the controller port connector is firmly inserted into the controller port slot. It should fix the problem. If the problem is not solved yet then try and plugging a different controller that you know works into the same slot. If the problem disappears, then the wiring in the first controller may be faulty or loose due to winding and pulling on the cord. If the problem still exists, then your Play station port connection piece may be faulty or broken.
