How to clear up your vista desktop of shortcut icons and keep access

You can have an orderly vista desktop and still have easy access to the shortcuts.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Vista

1. 
   There , that looks like my normal setup .

   Get your computer to the normal desktop setup for your machine .

2. 
   Your vista menu will open up .

   Left click the icon to be cleared up and drag it onto the start button image without letting go of the mouse button and wait for the menu to open up . Don't let go of the mouse clicker .

3. 
   Am i doing this right ?

   Now drag the shortcut on to the word " programs " and hover there until the programs menu opens up for you without letting up on the mouse clicker .

4. 
   Good Job !

   Drag the shortcut into the programs menu somewhere and finally release the mouse button to drop the shortcut icon into the programs menu . Now click the start button to close the menu .

Tips & Warnings

• You may need to re-open the the menu to properly adjust the location of the shortcut icons position .I like to set it right above or below it's program folder if it's in there also .
