Things You'll Need:
- Creativity
- Willingness to learn new trades
-
Step 1
Choose an activity that you like and are capable of. Decide if the activity is profitable.
-
Step 2
Try to choose activities that do not rely on the extra expense of a babysitter. An example is writing or creating crafts from home. Another is face painting on the weekends. You can do these activities with your children.
-
Step 3
Get a business license. Advertise your business to anyone who will listen. Create a website for your side business. Work by contract only. Make sure you get a non-refundable deposit for your services. Network!
-
Step 4
Make sure that you do the work as promised and agreed. Not only is this ethical but will help you get future work!
