  • Miniature Lights
  • Miniature Star or Angel for the top
  • Ornaments that they can choose

How to Create Personalized Christmas Trees for your

Step1
When you put up your large family Christmas tree this year, put up a smaller sized one in your childrens' rooms and let them choose the decor that will be on it. You can set it up on a dresser or desk so that they do not play with the ornaments.
Step2
They can put miniature lights, star or angel, and even miniature garland on it to make it festive and seasonal.
Step3
If your children like sports then take them to find some theme ornaments to put on their tree. Cars, instruments, baseball cards, Barbies and butterflies are just a few examples of the kinds of kid friendly themes could grace their tree.
Step4
They can use the lights as a night light in the evening also, and even put small gifts for a sibling or pet under their tree. It will help them be more excited and involved this holiday season and add Christmas cheer to their bedroom.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be careful to chose age appropriate items that children will not put in their mouths or choke on.
  • Make sure to unplug the tree each evening before you go to bed just like the larger family trees.
