So many toys so little time! Make a personalized toy bin for your child or pet. This basket is so easy to make and use to pick up those toys in a snap.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Fabric bin(found at any household market)
  • Puffy paint(found at craft stores)
  1. Step 1
    Box type

    Box type

Obtain the box that you desire(I prefer the fabric 12x12 that I found at target in the closet organizing area). Obtain the puffy paints in the colors that you like(I like to use gold and silver glittery and plain old black). If you get generic colors that fit boys or girls you will not spend more on pinks and blues. But if you prefer go on ahead.

  2. Step 2

Decide the layout for your basket. I make these for my dog toys. Place the Name how you want. A pencil works great for the layout. Scrapbook stickers stencils stamps all work great to give ideas and placement ideas. You do not have to include a name.

  3. Step 3
    Vines

    Vines

Plastic letters, numbers, and shapes can be used on the box. They will stick if you stick them to box with puffy paint. If you like place a small line around these items to add dimension.

  4. Step 4
    Paw print

    Paw print

Shapes that are easy to make freehand are dog paw prints, flowers, and vine like swirls. A dog paw can be made with three medium circles for the pad of the paw and four smaller circles for the toes over the three medium circles.

  5. Step 5
    Flowers

    Flowers

Flowers can be made with five circles that touch. The circles should be placed at noon, two, ten, seven, and five. Vines are the easiest. Make a wavy line as long or short as you like. Place dots or slashes if you desire.

  6. Step 6

Let Dry for 24 hours so the puffy paint will dry and colors will turn to a glossy finish with glitters in it if you used this types of paints.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be careful to work from one side to the other because you do not want to pull your hand through the wet paints. If you do use a wet cloth to fix the mistake.
