The Angel Quilt Project was founded as the Angel Afghan Project on January 27, 2000 as a non-profit organization. It is a world-wide organization of cross stitchers and machine embroiderers that stitch and then incorporate the designs onto hand-made blankets which are then donated to families with premature babies at over 200 hospitals in the US.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • internet connection
  • cross stitch supplies
  • a big heart
  1. Step 1

    Do a search on the internet for the Angel Quilt Project. This will lead you to the website.

  2. Step 2

    Pick your design and fabric based on the guidelines given on the website and stitch your piece.

  3. Step 3

    Wash it and mail it on to one of the finishers as listed on the site.

  4. Step 4

    Do another one and tell all your stitcher friends to help out!
