Microsoft Publisher allows you to create your own, quality publications. But sometimes, when you are working on an uncompleted draft, you need to do a lot of printing for editing and previewing purposes. If your publication is graphic-heavy, this can mean a lot of ink and extra expense. Read on for some steps that will show you how to print a draft without graphics in Publisher.

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Begin by opening the Publisher publication you are working on.

Click “File” from the standard toolbar.
Step3
Click “Print” from the “File” menu.
Step4
Click the “Advanced Print Settings” button.
Step5
Click the “Graphics and Fonts” tab, and then click “Do Not Print Any Graphics.”
Step6
Click “OK,” and then click “OK” again to print your publication.

Tips & Warnings

  • To go back to printing with graphics, you'll need to clear the "Do Not Print Any Graphics" option.
