Fark.com is one of the most popular online communities and news aggregation websites. Step1

This is not a required step, but consider subscribing to TotalFark if you are not currently a member. Membership is $5 per month, and it allows you to view all submitted links to fark.com. You will see which ones have been approved and which ones have been rejected for posting to the main page, giving you a better understanding of what makes a good headline and article submission.

Step2

Browse fark.com to see the various tags used to categorize articles. These include amusing, asinine, hero, sick, PSA, Florida, news and others. Keep these tags in mind as you search for an article to submit.

Browse your local online news site and other sites until you find an article that fits one of the fark.com categories. Articles that are particularly strange, stupid or interesting are most likely to be approved.

Navigate to fark.com and click Submit a Link near the top of the page.

Copy and paste the article URL into the form. Select the source of the news. Type of link and the category tag from the drag-down menus.

Step6

Create and enter your headline. This is the part that will make or break you in terms of getting your link posted to the main page. A great story with a bad, unfunny or boring headline will probably never be posted.

Proofread your headline and click the Submit button.
