Step 1
Find pay-per-lead programs that relate well to your website or ezine. Many affiliate networks offer pay-per-lead programs from a variety of merchants. See the Resources section for links to some of them. You can also search for independently managed pay-per-lead programs.
-
Step 2
Determine what type of links would be best for your website or ezine. Text links are good if you want to incorporate the program into articles or information products, or if you produce a text-only ezine. Graphic ads work well in sidebars, headers, or footers of websites, blogs and HTML ezines.
-
Step 3
Add your affiliate links to appropriate areas of your site, or in the ad section of your ezine.
-
Step 4
Promote your website or ezine. There are many ways that you can promote for free. You could also use paid advertising, or pay-per-click programs. Just be sure to monitor your programs carefully to ensure that you are making a profit with them.
-
Step 5
Invest some of the money you make from pay-per-lead programs to promote new programs. Highly focused sites are well suited to affiliate programs, including pay-per-lead. Creating them in profitable niches could bring great profits.

on 8/19/2008 Interesting article. I wish I would have found it a few hundred dollars ago! I purchased a training program that taught me about using commission junction(among other programs), but you offer the information here for free. Live and learn.
