How to Make Paprika Cream Schnitzel

This Hungarian dish is truly worthy of a Gabor sister. Read on to learn how to make a paprika cream schnitzel.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 lbs. veal steak
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • Tomato sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp. Italian onion
  • Flat noodles
  1. Step 1

    Chop up the onion and veal. Cut the bacon finely.

  2. Step 2

    Fry the bacon in a saucepan, then introduce the veal and brown the two together.

  3. Step 3

    Stir in the onion and allow that to caramelize.

  4. Step 4

    Boil the noodles in a separate pot, then drain.

  5. Step 5

    Add paprika, salt, sour cream and tomato sauce.

  6. Step 6

    Cover the saucepan and allow to cook for 30 minutes.

  7. Step 7

    Remove the veal and plate it up. Pour the sauce over the veal and top with noodles.
