Why go to expensive restaurants when you can make it on your own. This simple recipe is classy and can please the whole family. Only four ingredients.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Sliced ham out of the lunchmeat section in the market
  • Mozzarella cheese either shredded or sliced
  • Bisquick
  • Cubed steak or a steak that has been tenderized an expensive cut is not necessary

Step1
Preheat oven to 200. This is just to keep warm and finish melting the cheese.
Step2
Beat or roll out a cube steak with rolling pin till as thin as you can get it. You will end up folding it over so make sure that you have thinned it out to accommodate a piece of hame and a little cheese.
Step3
Flour both sides of the cubed steak with Bisquik. Pam or coat a pan with butter. Place a cube steak in the pan and brown each side. When on the second side place a bit of cheese and ham on one side. Fold other half over the ham and cheese. Give it a minute to warm up the cheese so that it will melt.
Step4
Place in a cake pan or oven safe dish. Repeat for all steaks. Each steak may make 2 servings or 3 for children.
Step5
Make or add your favorite gravy. Pour over all the finished product. Add more cheese over steaks. Warm for 10 minutes and enjoy. This is a timely entree but worth the time. Steps are easy.

Tips & Warnings

  • If your pan gets to hot pull to the side and wait a minute to cool and make a go of it again.
  • Follow the same recipe but replace beef with chicken beat that you have butterfly cut. Still beat it our or roll with rolling pin.
