How to Make Bananas en Casserole

Fruit can indeed be made into a casserole. This recipe is sure to impress your family and friends!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 6 bananas
  • 1 lime
  • 2 cups orange jelly
  • 1 cup water
  • Butter
  • Granulated sugar

Step1
Halve the lime and squeeze the juice out of both halves.
Step2
Boil the jelly in water, then add the lime juice.
Step3
Peel and quarter the bananas. Place the pieces in a baking dish pan which has been smeared with butter.
Step4
Pour the orange jelly and lime juice mixture over the bananas.
Step5
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake at 450 degrees F until the bananas are tender.
Step6
During the final few minutes of baking remove the pan and foil, dust the dish with granulated sugar, then return it to the oven.
