You don't have to be in a committed romantic relationship to fully enjoy life. You can tolerate being on your own and even learn to love it. You will be the confident, sexy and awesome person at all those weddings and parties you attend.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get involved in activities that you love so that you are enjoying life every single moment possible. If you're stuck in a bad job, get a new one or move somewhere where you can get your dream position. You have no one holding you back. Be selfish and make your life great according to your own rules.

  2. Step 2

Stay open to meeting new people. It doesn't necessarily have to be dating prospects, but just people you can have a good time with, whether it's a drinking buddy or someone accompany you to spinning class. Make time for your friends. You you socialize with them, you increase the odds that you'll meet even more cool people.

  3. Step 3

Date without stress. Even if you're looking for a long-term relationship, go on dates just for the fun of them. If it doesn't work out, you won't feel let down.

  4. Step 4

Reserve one night a week for dinner or coffee with your family or a relative. A loving family can ground you and make you aware of how great you are. You also won't feel so "single" when you're surrounded by people who love you for who you are.

  5. Step 5

Don't dwell on being single. Think of it as being alone rather than lonely. If you feel lonely, think of ways to improve you life. Being in a relationship just because you are lonely rarely works and it may be masking deeper needs. If you learn to love your life without relying on anyone else, your energy and happiness will be contagious, and you'll attract people that will bring you what you need.
