Five out of seven days a week for 30 hours each week you are around one sex, and it just happens to be your own. Your life doesn't have to be ruined if you must attend an all-girls school. You just have to find creative ways to expose yourself to the opposite gender during extracurricular hours.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Identify your school's brother school. Often, single sex high schools perform plays, musicals or other activities with other single sex schools. Find out if your high school has a brother school and explore the types of activities the two do together. Find an activity that you think you would enjoy and become involved.
Step2
Seek out activities completely unassociated with school that let you meet new people. Local sports clubs, art classes, community theaters and other events can expose you to different types of people.
Step3
Make some money while you meet new people. Consider getting an after-school or weekend job. Chances are you will work with kids in your age range, and this will expand your circle of friends.
Step4
Keep in touch with middle school or grammar school friends. Reach out to someone who you used to be close with and reestablish the relationship. Whether it's a guy or a girl, you can relate to one another as you go through high school.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't get frustrated. After all, it's only four years. Socialize with your schoolmates, and you may discover that they are going through the same experiences as you. You can support each other and form an enriching bond.
