How to Create a Scripture Scrapbook
Step1
First is to plan your album. A small album, 7 by 7, works great for this album because it allows room for a 4 by 6 photo and your verse or verses. Figure out how you want your album to go, a certain picture with a specific verse, ABC verses with pictures to fit the verse or scenic pictures or verses for specific occasions-birthdays, baptism, weddings. The style of the album is up to you.
Step2
When you know what type of album you would like to create, start picking out your pictures. It is best to start with your pictures then the verses because you may want to have the verse match your picture, this will also save you time because you will be able to put the right verse with the picture. When you have all your photos picked out number the backs of them.
Step3
Once you have the pictures you would like to use, start matching the verses you would like to use with the pictures. On the lined paper, write the photo number and then write the bible verse next to it. For now just write the book, chapter and number of the verse and not the whole verse word for word-this will be done in a later step. This can take some time to complete this step because there are so many verses in the bible and choosing the right one may be a challenge.
Step4
When all the pictures have a bible verse you are ready to put the album together. Scrap the pages like you would a normal scrapbook, set the page up with a background, the photo and set a place for your verse. This is where you will write the entire verse or verses you picked to go with the photo. Write the verse like you would do your journaling in a normal scrapbook-on lined paper, typed on the computer or just written somewhere on the page.
Step5
Once you start putting the pages together you may find that you want to switch a photo or verse around here or there. Just plan around your changes and it will work out just fine. Scrapbooking is all about how you want to create the page, you change your mind many times in scrapbooking, faithbooking is no different.
Step6
Once all the photos and verses are put in place and your pages are complete you have just created your own scrapbook using scripture. Now you can enjoy it or have it bring something positive into your day.
