Creating your own wedding album can be an incredibly fun and fulfilling project. With a little creativity, you can create a wedding album that will remind you of your very special day for many years to come.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Elegant photo album
  • Wedding photos
  • Photo corners
  • Paper trimmer
  • Ruler
  1. Step 1

Organize your wedding photos by time of day. Group photos by mini-event such as saying your vows, cutting the cake and dancing at the reception.

  2. Step 2

Select the photos you want to place in the album. Look at each photo carefully, especially those that may not look perfect at first glance. You can trim photos to a smaller size if you only want part of the image for your album.

  3. Step 3

Order the photos you've selected from your wedding photographer or, if you have the digital files or negatives, pay to have them printed on high quality photo paper. Make sure your photo prints vary in size, but aren't too big for your album.

  4. Step 4

Set aside the best images, and then trim the other photos into different sized squares and rectangles. Get creative by capturing distinctive images that may not have stood out in the original photo.

  5. Step 5

Arrange the photos on the album pages. Create symmetry on each page by placing large photos next to small photos, making sure that the top, bottom and side edges line up. This also creates visual interest and draws the eye across each page.

  6. Step 6

Use photo corners to affix the photos to the album pages.

Tips & Warnings
  • Place a copy of your wedding invitation on the first page of the album.
