If you have a website and want to share an MP3 without making your visitors download the file, there is an easy way around this. You can use a Flash Player to complete this task and your browser and visitors will thank you in the end.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • MP3 file
  • Flash [layer
  1. Step 1

Open a web browser and search for a free or cheap Flash Player that you cam download and use. One of the more popular applications is Odeo, and it’s completely free.

  2. Step 2

Make sure the file that you want to use is saved on your computer, and then upload it to the Flash Player device. Make note of the URL address because you will need this information when you insert the embedding script on your website.

  3. Step 3

Next type this information into the HTML code of your website:

Insert the URL address of the MP3 file where it reads “MP3 file address."

  4. Step 4

Save the changes to the HTML on your website and then view it. You should see the added Flash Player and be able to click the “Play button” to hear the recording.
