Depending upon how much a business does in credit card sales, that monthly fee would actually be a higher price. The best way to gauge if $14.95 is relevant or not is to decide if you're business will likely do more than $3000 in sales a month. Given that most traditional businesses cannot survive unless they are making at least a few thousand dollars a month, choosing a cheap credit machine service (where there is no monthly minimum) would not be a wise decision; due to the fact that most of those companies charge higher per transaction fees in exchange for giving you no monthly minimums, no contracts.
