on 7/9/2009 The tip about the monthly fee being lower (at $14.95) than what most credit machine service companies charge is really misleading. Depending upon how much a business does in credit card sales, that monthly fee would actually be a higher price. The best way to gauge if $14.95 is relevant or not is to decide if you're business will likely do more than $3000 in sales a month. Given that most traditional businesses cannot survive unless they are making at least a few thousand dollars a month, choosing a cheap credit machine service (where there is no monthly minimum) would not be a wise decision; due to the fact that most of those companies charge higher per transaction fees in exchange for giving you no monthly minimums, no contracts. These types of services are low end, but more expensive services. Instead, it's much better if you use a regular credit machine service provider - that is...
