How to Make Cinnamon and Sugar Doughnut Holes

  1. Step 1

Cut each biscuit in half and then half again on the cutting board (making four pieces out of each biscuit.) Each package of biscuits will yield 40 doughnut holes. Normally a person can eat about 10-12 of these delicious treats.

  2. Step 2

Heat the oil in the deep fryer or pan that you are using to about 375 degrees. You can test the oil by dropping one piece of dough in; if bubbles start forming around the oil quickly and the dough rises to the surface, the oil is hot enough to cook your doughnuts.

  3. Step 3

Use a frying basket or similar item to drop the doughnuts into the oil and cook. Your cook time is only about one minute; you do not want the doughnut holes to burn or to be doughy in the center. When they are evenly golden brown take them out and place them in the mixing bowl that contains the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Place the lid on the bowl and shake it to evenly coat the doughnut holes.

  4. Step 4

Take them out and serve them with milk or juice.
