Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Microsoft Office Outlook 2007
- Calendar created in Outlook 2007 (and already published on Office Online)
- Windows Live ID Account (you should have already created one of these when you published your calendar.)
- Internet connection
Step1
Open Calendar. Right-click the calendar listed in the Navigation Pane in which you need to make the changes. Select “Publish to Internet” on the shortcut menu that appears for the calendar. Click on “Change Publishing Options.”
Step2
Decide on the amount of days that you would like to share you calendar under “Time Span.” You can make changes from the two drop-down boxes or you can select “Whole calendar” to allow complete access with no time limit specified.
Step3
Choose the details you want to share by clicking on the arrow by “Detail.” Each of the four detail options explains what will be shared. You could also select “Show time within my working hours only” to set the calendar to your specific work hours, which you selected in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007.
Step4
Select who you would like to grant access to under “Permissions.” You can decide between invited users only, or you can consent to anyone the right to use it. See Tips below for more information. If you are going to let anyone have admission to your calendar, you should supply an explanation of it in the “Description” box. This will make it easier for them to find it.
Step5
Click on “OK.” If you have selected to share your published calendar, you will be prompted to send invitations at this time. See Tips below for more details.
