Tired of the same old leftover spaghetti sauce and rewarmed noodles? Make this one-pan spaghetti dish for a change of pace.

From Quick Guide: Pasta 101
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Leftover spaghetti sauce with or without meat/meatballs, at least four cups
  • Leftover spaghetti pasta (enough to line the bottom and sides of a 9x13 inch cake pan
  • One large egg, beaten
  • 2-3 tablespoons of oil
  • Parmesan and mozzarella cheese to taste
  1. Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Oil the bottom and sides of the baking pan, and beat the egg. Add the beaten egg to the leftover noodles in a bowl, and toss to coat the noodles.

  2. Step 2

Press the noodle mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the baking dish, making sure the bottom of the pan doesn't show through the noodles (about an inch thick).

  3. Step 3

Next pour the spaghetti sauce over the noodles, sprinkle the top liberally with the mozzarella cheese, and a dusting of Parmesan cheese.

  4. Step 4

Bake at 350 until the edges of the noodles start to brown, and the cheese is melted, about 20-25 minutes. Remove from the oven, and let set for about five minutes, cut and serve hot with more Parmesan cheese.
