How to Use Your New Flip Video

Using your flip video is so easy but you may have a couple of glitches depending on your program

Things You'll Need:

  • Flip Video Camera
  • Internet
  1. Step 1

    Before you do anything, open the box and make sure the camera is not broken.

  2. Step 2

    Download the program from www.theflip.com. This way you are sure to get the latest program updates and your downloaded program is sure to work on your operating system.

  3. Step 3

    To record.

    Turn the camera on with the button on the right side of the camera when lense is NOT facing you.

    Press the red button in the center of the camera when ready to record.

    Press the red button when finished recording.

  4. Step 4

    Turn the camera off when not in use using the power button you used to turn it on.

  5. Step 5

    Dowloading.

    Flip the USB button the left side of the camera when lense is not facing you. Notice the USB plug pops out. Plug the USB plug into your USB port on your computer.

    Your computer and your camera will automatically start communicating and will download your movies. Flow prompts instructed by your particular programing.

on 8/11/2008 There is no mention of the editing software that has to be installed separately. Also the ability to send a compressed video directly by email or to Evernote. This camera is amazing!!
