How to prepare a delicious main dish for dinner. This is one of my personal recipes thanks to my Italian Papa who was a Chef for thirty years. Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1 1/2 lbs. of ground beef (use extra lean meat to lower fat content)
  • 4 soaked slices of bread (squeezed dry)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 ½ tsp. of salt
  • 2 tbsp. parmesan cheese
  • 3 strips of bacon
  • 1 tsp. of fresh garlic

Step1
Mix ingredients and put in loaf baking dish
Step2
Put bacon on top of meatloaf
Step3
Put baking dish in pan of water—make sure water does not dry out and cook at 400 degrees for one hour (this makes the loaf moist)
