Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Logic
- Pencil (NOT PEN!!)
- Sudoku book or puzzle
Step1
Fill the grid so that the numbers 1 through 9 appear in each row. A row is a section that goes across the page.
Step2
Fill in the grid so that the numbers 1 through 9 appear in each column. A column is a section that goes up and down on a page.
Step3
Visit this page for more details. http://www.forbeginners.info/sudoku-puzzles/how-to-solve.htm
Fill in the grid so that the numbers appear in each 3x3 grid box. Look at the 3 in the picture. Notice that the 3 can not appear in any of the other small boxes across the row on the 1st line. Also notice the second line where the 3 can not go. Now, look at the 3 that can not be placed in the column. There is only ONE place the 3 can go and you have just solved your first number!! That was easy wasn't it? The red indicates where the 3 can't go and the green indicates where it can. Obviously your puzzle will not solve itself. This is just a tutor.
