Adobe After Effects is a program which you can use to combine footage with transparent backgrounds, such as video shot on a green screen. If you have a lot of footage you are working with from different sources, you may need to adjust the hue and saturation levels of each footage layer.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Open the Adobe After Effects program and open your current project file.
Step2
Know that the timeline window will be open, showing the footage you are currently working with. Select the first video clip you want to adjust by clicking on the name.
Step3
Go to "Effect," then "Adjust," and then "Hue/Saturation."
Step4
Be aware that you can manually enter a number or scrub the arrow in the control window that will open for Effects. Make incremental changes in 10s, by entering the number “10” in Master Hue.
Step5
Manually enter a number for Saturation in the control window also for Effects. Again, make incremental changes in 10s, by entering the number “10” in Master Saturation. The amount of change you make to the Hue and Saturation effects is entirely dependent on the needs of your project and your taste, along with how you want your final project to look.
