How to fit a scuba snorkel mask

Fit a Scuba Mask to ensure it seals properly and does not leak.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Scuba Mask
• Mirror

1. Lean head back looking up.

2. Pull all hair out of the way, hair will make any mask leak

3. Inhale though you nose and hold your breath do not push the mask on, it should "suck" to you face

4. Look down and into a mirror, if the mask stays and seals air it should seal water

Tips & Warnings

• Look for a professional quality mask, made with surgical grade silicone not commercial silicone
• Do not over tighten the mask, a good fitting mask almost feels loose. An over tighten mask actually will fit worse as it may curl the inside seal and not seal as well.
• Make sure the lens glass is tempered for safety
