MLS is the soccer league in North America. It consists of 13 teams, and has picked up a solid following since the United States national team had a good showing in the 2002 World Cup. MLS continues to grow in popularity, in no small part due to international stars coming to play for the league.

Difficulty: Easy

That can depend on location, or it could be based on certain players. Many people that follow MLS are Los Angeles Galaxy fans now that David Beckham plays there.
Step2
Familiarize yourself with the MLS game. MLS is a bit different than international soccer. For many years people argued that it was due to the fact that the league lacked talent, but now some of the best players in the world play in the MLS.
Step3
Go to a game. Soccer in the United States is still not televised more than a couple of times a week. Stadiums have begun to pop up in every city that has an MLS team, rather than the team sharing the stadium with another team in that city. Tickets are not generally expensive, and the atmosphere at a soccer game is exciting.
Step4
Share soccer with your friends and family. Enjoying anything with the people you like to spend time with is a great thing, and what better way to do that than with soccer. The MLS will only continue to grow and succeed if the people that enjoy it share that with others.
