Love cookies but love a healthy lifestyle more? Even dieters need a little treat occasionally and this whole wheat cookie is just the thing to meet health conscious snackers. Want to trick your kids into eating better? These cookies taste just as good at the regular flour version and they will never know! Low in fat and sugar, this recipe will make you feel good about cookies and milk time!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup Splenda
  • 1/2 Splenda brown sugar (or 1 cup regular brown sugar)
  • 2/3 cup light butter or margarine
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs or 1/2 cup of egg beaters
  • 3 cups whole wheat blend flour
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 12 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips

    Chocolate Chip Whole Wheat Cookies

  1. Step 1

    Mix sugars, butter, vanilla and eggs in large bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Stir in remaining ingredients.

  3. Step 3

    Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.

  4. Step 4

    Bake at 350 degrees until light brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Cool slightly and remove from cookie sheet.
