How to Make a Pina Colada Jello Mold

This gelatin mold will make you feel like you're in the tropics. It contains coconut tidbits, citrus-flavored gelatin and pina colada drink mix.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 package (4 servings) of pineapple gelatin
  • 1 package of orange gelatin
  • 1-1/2 cups of boiling water
  • 1/2 cup of frozen nonalcoholic pina colada mix
  • 1 can (20 oz.) of pineapple tidbits, drained and the juice reserved
  • 1/2 cup of flaked coconut
  • A medium bowl
  • A mold pan (2 quarts)
  • A mixing spoon
  • Cooking spray
  1. Step 1

    In a medium bowl, dissolve the 2 packs of gelatin into the boiling water. Stir well.

  2. Step 2

    Add the pina colada frozen concentrate and the pineapple juice and stir well.

  3. Step 3

    Refrigerate the mixture for 45 to 60 minutes until slightly thickened.

  4. Step 4

    Spray the 2 quart mold pan with the cooking spray.

  5. Step 5

    Add the pineapple tidbits and the coconut flakes to the thickened gelatin (stir well.)

  6. Step 6

    Spoon the gelatin into the mold pan and refrigerate the mold for at least 4 hours or until firm.

  7. Step 7

    Remove the gelatin mold from the pan and serve.

Tips & Warnings
  • For even more decadence, garnish the finished mold with whipped cream.
