Cream Cheese Pound Cake with a Dusting of Confectioner's Sugar

This cream cheese pound cake is a visual stunner when baked in a Bundt pan. It can be dressed up with strawberries and whipped cream or raspberries and sliced peaches. But it's great all on its own!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 (10-inch) Bundt pan
  • 3 sticks butter, softened
  • 1 (8-ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs, at room temperature
  • 3 cups sifted cake flour
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons vanilla
  1. Step 1

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Coat Bundt pan with cooking spray. Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until smooth and fluffy.

  2. Step 2

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add flour a little at a time and mix until smooth. Add vanilla and blend.

  3. Step 3

Turn batter out into prepared pan. Bake for 1-1/2 hours or until cake tests done.
Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes. Invert pan and finish cooling cake.

Tips & Warnings
  • When cake is cool, dust with confectioner's sugar.
  • May be served with sliced strawberries and whipped cream, or raspberries and sliced peaches.
  • Makes 12 generous servings.
