• Water, soap, flea shampoo or flea power

1. Remove fleas using fine-toothed comb.
2. Drown the fleas removed in a basin of soapy water. You read it right, drowning works for these tiny bloodsuckers.
3. Use flea shampoos or flea powders, if possible, ask your veterinarian for chemical-free flea treatment. This is to avoid subjecting your pet and your family to chemical overdose.
4. If you do not feel comfortable removing fleas by combing it dry, bathe your dog in deep basin full of water and detergent. The fleas will be easy to remove this way.
