Fleas hurt your dog and may possibly hurt you as well. Avoid flea infestation in your home by making sure you keep your dog clean. Fleas may also thrive in your upholstery and thus, you will need to get rid of fleas to protect your pet and your home. If flea has entered your dog's life, it is uncomfortable for him. Thus, get rid of it fast.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Water, soap, flea shampoo or flea power

Step1
Remove fleas using fine-toothed comb.
Step2
Drown the fleas removed in a basin of soapy water. You read it right, drowning works for these tiny bloodsuckers.
Step3
Use flea shampoos or flea powders, if possible, ask your veterinarian for chemical-free flea treatment. This is to avoid subjecting your pet and your family to chemical overdose.
Step4
If you do not feel comfortable removing fleas by combing it dry, bathe your dog in deep basin full of water and detergent. The fleas will be easy to remove this way.

Tips & Warnings

  • Water is the most non-toxic way of removing fleas. Just make sure that the fleas are dead before you throw them in the pit.
