Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Put together a box of special toys. These toys will only be taken out during the time you need or want to write.
Step2
Purchase educational tapes that are fun to watch.
Step3
Tape TV shows such as Reading Rainbow, Bill Nye the Science Guy, or Bindi the Jungle Girl along with others on Discovery Kids station.
Step4
Take 15 minutes at the end of the day to make the next day’s “To Do” list. This will give direction for the next day as you are drinking your morning coffee.
Step5
Form a Mother’s working from home with young children Co-op. It will not only give support to each other, but to share babysitting.
Step6
Put your children into a stroller and take a walk to a park in your neighborhood. Take your notebook and pen on this walk so that when the children play, you can write.
Step7
Get your children involved in story time at your local library. Take your notebook or laptop and use the time to write.
Step8
Coffee shops that are kid friendly help to keep the children entertained for a time. This will also give a change of scene for all, and upon returning home, all will be in a better mood for working.
Step9
Play a game with your children by letting them pretend to work like you.
