Be creative and make this pillow for family, friends, or your own home. It is fun to make and can be made for all different holidays by the design that is stamped on it. Use a modern design to add year-round charm to your home décor.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Cut the fabric to the size of your pillow and add 1”. (For example, if the pillow form is 14” x14”, cut the square on15”x 15”.) This gives you a ½” seam allowance on each side.

  2. Step 2

Turn iron on to wool setting. When iron is ready, lay the rubber stamp design up on the iron board. Lay fabric right side down and iron on top of it. Continue until you are happy with the design.

  3. Step 3

If you are going to use a trim around your pillow, attach it at this time about a 1/2'” from the edge stitch it.

  4. Step 4

Lay the back fabric on top of the front. Pin into place and stitch 3 sides of the pillow.

  5. Step 5

Clip the corners on an angle to get cleaner corners after pillow is turned. Turn the pillow right side out.

  6. Step 6

Put pillow form into pillow cover. Turn the raw edge that is open in to give a clean look. Pin edges for ease in sewing.

  7. Step 7

    Hand stitch the edge
Now you have a beautiful finished pillow for any room.
