Things You'll Need:
- A read on your current disposition
-
Step 1
Go to the cereal aisle of your favorite store. Pick out three favorite presweetened cereals and three favorite unsweetened cereals. Take them home and place them in the cupboard.
-
Step 2
Wake up and open the cupboard. Consider your mood. If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands, then choose a happy cereal such as Lucky Charms or Froot Loops. If dour or melancholy, pour a bowl of Special K or Corn Flakes.
-
Step 3
Open the cupboard again before bedtime. Decide whether to go healthful or decadent. If choosing the former, try Grape-Nuts or Smart Start. If the latter is preferred, slide out the Pops or Cap'n Crunch.
-
Step 4
This one looks sweet enough!Honor a favorite spokescharacter the next morning. If you're feeling "Greeeeat!" let Tony the Tiger know by munching on some crunchy Frosted Flakes. If frustrated, try Trix because The Trix Rabbit has been striking out in his attempt to procure his favorite cereal for a half-century.
-
Step 5
Get a chocolate fix! Pour a bowl of Cocoa Pebbles. Or Cocoa Krispies. Or Cocoa Puffs. Throw caution to the wind!
-
Step 6
Place the bowl and spoon into consideration. Eat a sweet cereal from a little spoon from a big, colorful bowl with stripes and stars. Play a game from the back of the box and pretend you're a kid again. Or eat from a big spoon from a plain bowl if feeling particularly mature.

on 3/10/2008 I never knew eating cereal could be so much fun. Mostly I adhere to the six grams (of sugar) or less rule and I always eye Golden Grahams or Cinnimon Toast Crunch as I dutifully select Wheat Chex. Maybe I'll have to get wild and pick some up next time!

on 1/7/2008 Thanks for the comment! Actually, I do the same thing as your kids. I don't like my cereal too crispy!

on 1/7/2008 I have to add... eat it right away. My children like to wait until their cereal is soggy first. UMMMM did I mention YUCK! Great article thanks.
