When I was a little girl my mother and father told me that I could do anything I put my mind to doing. I realize that this statement is true. The key to doing any and everything is based on how motivated and committed you are to doing it. When you are motivated you'll find out what you need to know in order to know how to do what you want to do and when you learn what needs to be done you do it.

Step1

Gage your feelings on what is you are trying to do or accomplish. Whether its starting a new career, buying a new home, getting married, or going back to school, you need to figure out how committed you are to doing what you want to do.

Set up a step by step plan on what it is you are trying to do and determine a realistic timeline for completion

Step3

Determine what resources you will need. Do you need money, time, people to assist you? How much resources will you need? These are the types of questions that you need ask yourself and then find the answers.

Do research to discover who has already done what you are trying to accomplish. My grandmother always told me never to reinvent the wheel because there is never anything new up under the sun. What she was trying to say is that you don't have to figure things out on your own when someone has already figured it out for you. Talk to people and use their experience as a blue print to help you accomplish what you need to accomplish.

Whatever you are trying to accomplish (whether its simple or complex), use the internet and the library to look up information on the topic or subject. Read as much information as you can and gather facts to help you understand exactly what you need to do and how you need to do it.
