In Pin the Tail on the Donkey, you get blind-folded, spun around and thenhave to walk across the room to stick a paper tail on a picture of a donkey. The person who places that tail closest to the donkey's backside is the winner. You can make your own customized party pin game so that the theme of the game matches the theme of the party.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Decide on an item, animal or person to feature in the game. Then pick the thing that you will pin on it. For a Christmas party you could play Pin the Star on the Christmas Tree or Pin the Beard on Santa Claus. At Halloween, you can play Pin the Face on the Pumpkin. Pin the Mustache on a photograph of the birthday boy or girl or Pin the Garter on the Bride are other variations. Any theme can be utilized to customize your game.
Step2
Transfer the main design onto a large piece of poster board. It can be white or any other color that complements your party decorations. Use a wide tipped marker to draw and color the design or get a photograph enlarged.
Step3
Make a cardboard template for the thing, your version of the donkey tail, that you will pin on the poster. Trace around it on construction or other colored paper. Cut out one thing for each party guest. Write a different number or each guest’s name on each piece. Set the pieces out on a table.
Step4
Hang the poster board on a wall or tack it to a tree if you are hosting an outdoors party. Make sure that there is at least a 10-foot area for the players to travel and that there are no sharp or breakable objects around. Remember that the players will be blindfolded and spun around until they are dizzy and disoriented. If you are playing with all adults there could be additional challenges if the game follows any alcoholic beverages.
Step5
Gather the guests together when it is time to play. Put a piece of double-sided tape on each pin-on piece right before you give one to a guest. Blindfold one guest at a time. Spin them around and around until they are dizzy, and then let them try to maneuver to the poster to tape their piece.
Step6
Give a prize to the guest whose piece is in the best location. You may also want to have a silly prize for the guest whose piece is farthest from the target.
