Step 1
Start your night off with drinks in a hidden hot spot in Grand Central Terminal called the Campbell Apartment. Tucked discreetly around the backside of the station at 15 Vanderbilt Avenue and away from the pulsing stream of commuters, you will forget that you are actually inside an old train station. Once you ascend the stairs leading into the bar, you will feel as if you've just arrived at a hilltop mansion party during the 1940s. Order your favorite cocktail and sit back and watch the world go by.

Step 2
Waldorf AstoriaHead over to the Waldorf Astoria a few blocks away at 49th Street and Park Avenue. Enter into the grand Art-Deco lobby alone and you will feel as if you've entered into the well-kept villa of an old movie star. Infinitely high ceilings lit by dangling chandeliers drip their light and elegance all around you. Have another drink at the famous Sir Harry's Bar or head straight to dinner at the elegant Bull and Bear Steakhouse within the hotel.

Take it up to midtown Manhattan to a little place called the Carnegie Club at 156 West 56th Street. Sink back into a plush seat and light up a cigar if you fancy while you listen to dead-on Frank Sinatra renditions through the haze of smoke. You can enjoy two sets for the price of one if you come to the early set that begins at 8pm.
